SD Medical is a Plantar Fasciitis solutions company. Working with Dr. Sean Lamb at Stapleford Health in Regina, we assess the foot. A foot assessment is made and a specialized boot and protocol are prescribed designed to achieve a deep stretch through the soleus and gastrocnemius. This is the main, superficial muscle on the back of the lower leg that forms the prominent bulge of the calf. Together with the deeper soleus and plantaris muscles, it forms the triceps surae (calf muscle complex) and connects to the heel via the Achilles tendon.
I have been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis for a while now. I was introduced to Steve from SD Medical to discuss a solution and he delivered a specialized boot to me the next day. Steve followed up with instructions and touched base to see how things were progressing. The Equinus boot is really simple and easy to use and immediately took away some soreness. I even started using it on my other foot without plantar fasciitis because it provided a good stretch along my foot and up through my legs. Thank you Steve.

Custom carbon fibre bracing
A dedicated team of Carbon Graphite Engineers working with Orthotists to manufacture our proprietary carbon braces. Light, rigid where it needs to be, built from your own measurements.
Custom 3D printed knee bracing
Scan driven builds in one of the fastest moving areas of orthopedics. The brace follows the contours of the limb instead of a size range.
Premium off the shelf bracing
Knee, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist and thumb bracing from DonJoy, Townsend, Thuasne, and Bauerfeind, selected and fitted to the assessment rather than handed over in a box.
Compression wear
Bauerfeind and ProCompression socks, leggings, calf and arm sleeves, and patellofemoral knee sleeves. Sized by measurement, with guidance on wear and care.
Cryotherapy
GameReady and Breg Polar Wave cold therapy, available on rental for the recovery window when swelling and pain are at their worst.
Fitting and follow up
Fitting in clinic or at your location, then adjustment as things settle. A brace that is not worn correctly is not working.

Sleeves and socks, same day
Compression sleeves and socks are often in stock at the clinic. If your size is not on hand, we measure you and have it delivered to your door the next day.
